2025 HSA Contribution Limits Announced!

The IRS has released the inflation-adjusted contribution limits for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) for 2025. Here’s what you need to know:

Bigger Boost for Your HSA Savings:

  • Self-only coverage: Contribute up to $4,300 (an increase of $150 from 2024).
  • Family coverage: Contribute up to $8,550 (an increase of $250 from 2024).

Catch-up contributions remain at $1,000 for eligible individuals aged 55 or older.

For 2025, the minimum deductible amount for HDHPs rises to $1,650 for self-only coverage and $3,300 for family coverage, compared to $1,600 and $3,200, respectively, in 2024. The maximum out-of-pocket expense limit for HDHPs increases to $8,300 for self-only coverage and $16,600 for family coverage in 2025, up from $8,050 and $16,100 in 2024.
